Madelyn Carr Bonnett is an Alabama native and resident of Columbiana, Alabama. She has been a serous amateur photographer for over 35 years. She founded MadArtz Photo in 2004 and sells prints and canvases, photo books, note cards an wall calendars featuring her photographs. A life-long lover of God’s natural world, she seeks to share the truth through her photos that God is the Creator of the earth and all its natural beauty. Her primary subjects are the botanicals, forests, Alabama and U.S. national parks and other wonders in nature. She shoots exclusively with natural light and often uses intentional camera movement and post-processing techniques to achieve abstract/artistic effects. She has won numerous local, regional, national and international awards for her work.
