Patti Steelman grew up in Middle Tennessee where she met and married her husband, Jim, over 32 years ago in Nashville. Patti spent over 20 years in information technology, human resources, and management consulting. She and Jim moved to Birmingham in 2000 for Jim’s career in banking. Patti enjoys reading, music, cooking, making stained glass mosaics, working out, and volunteering. She has been living with Multiple Sclerosis for over 14 years. In order to have a creative outlet, she started learning how to create Stained Glass Mosaics from a local artist Gerda Carmichael in 2011. Many of her designs are hanging in her home. Proceeds from her sales go to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
